The "Sariska" Tiger Reserve is an Indian national park located in the Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan.
It’s about 765.80 sq. kms in size. Located in the picturesque valley of the Aravalis, it’s surrounded all around by the thickly wooded reserve. It was established in 1955, now an excellent tiger sanctuary under the Project tiger campaign.
The dry deciduous forests of the Reserve are noted for many animals, as; Tiger, Nilgai, Sambhar, Cheetal, four horned antelope and wild boar. |
